The cleverly designed switches of the Y-Rail system make two-way operation with every kind of crossing far easier to build than with conventional monorail systems. The system adapts to the needs of each application – with actively switched points using a mechanical tongue, or with magnetic switching to cut the cost of vehicles and trolleys.
